Seychelles
Renowned for having some of the most pristine and uncrowded beaches in the world,
the 115 islands of the Seychelles are a fascinating mixture of hilly, rugged, granite islands and low lying coral atolls. Only 16 of these islands are inhabited by the cosmopolitan Seychellois people, a charming, hospitable race reflecting their French, British, African, Indian, Chinese and Arab melting pot heritage. Together with Mahe, the islands of Praslin and La Digue are the economic heart of the Seychelles, providing much of the tourism product that attracts international visitors.
Activities enjoyed by visitors include golf, a wide variety of watersports, stunning diving and snorkelling, riding and nature tours. The sailing is excellent particularly from May to September when the breezes make for perfect conditions.
