DAY 1
Arrive Port Elizabeth
On arrival at Port Elizabeth Airport you will be met by a Thompsons Representative and transferred to your selected game lodge located within a private concession in the Addo Elephant National Park. This afternoon enjoy an open vehicle safari through the game park, before returning after sunset to a wonderful dinner served under the African stars.
DAY 2
Addo Elephant National Park
Your lodge is located within the ‘Big Five’ Addo Elephant National Park, home to one of the densest elephant population in South Africa. Explore the bush with experienced rangers, in open vehicles or on foot, or simply relax by the pool till the animals begin stirring at dusk. This finely tuned eco-system is sanctuary to over 450 elephants, Cape buffalo, black rhino, a variety of antelope species, as well as the unique flightless dung beetle, found almost exclusively in Addo.
DAY 3
Depart Port Elizabeth
After your morning safari and your last opportunity to enjoy Africa’s wildlife, you will be transferred back to Port Elizabeth Airport for your onward journey.
